The Department of Finance is dedicated to offering a conceptually grounded, quality education for a broad community of learners. Central to this mission is providing a foundation for lifelong learning and enhanced professional and intellectual growth for our community of students, faculty, business and alumni.

In 2005, our Kellstadt Graduate School of Business ranked ninth in the nation in U.S. News & World Report's annual ranking of part-time MBA programs. This was the tenth consecutive year in the nation's Top 10. Our Portfolio of Masters programs provides students with the tools required to be professionals in a particular field in business. We provide an MS program for nearly every business career goal.

We offer MBA concentrations in Banking, Behavioral Finance, Finance, Financial Analysis, Financial Management and Control, Investment Management, Mangerial Finance (Weekend MBA only), Real Estate Finance and Investment, and Strategy, Execution, and, Valuation. Additionally, we offer a Master of Science in Computational Finance, Master of Science in Finance as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate.

Sixth Annual Driehaus Virtual Portfolio Competition

Undergraduate finance majors have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes in the sixth annual Driehaus Virtual Portfolio Competition. Funded by DePaul alumnus Richard Driehaus of Driehaus Capital Management, student teams manage a "virtual" investment portfolio during the academic year and are judged by a faculty committee on their stock selection, investment returns and investment strategies.

FIN 595 Investment Seminar

Graduate finance students have the opportunity to manage a REAL money $300,000 porfolio of securities. Enrollment is by application only and admission is limited to 18 students. Click here to learn more
